Guten Abend ihr Lieben Waldbewohner ♥️, seid ihr auch schonmal auf falsche Cover reingefallen? Zuletzt ging es mir bei dem Buch “Für den Wolf” von Hannah Whitten. Das Buch machte den Eindruck als wäre es eine Rotkäppchen-Adaption und da ich ein großer Fan solcher Geschichten bin, musste es bei mir einziehen. Aber es war eher eine Art” Schöne und das Biest” Adaption. Ich bin nun wirklich kein Fan von “Die schöne und das Biest” 😅. Aber na ja, kommen wir zum Thema zurück. Die Autorin konnte mich mit ihrem großartigen Setting dem düsteren Wald und ihrem lebhaften Schreibstil dann doch sehr fesseln. Ich mochte die Geschichte dann doch irgendwie, aber einerseits hätte ich mehr Romanik gewünscht, denn es soll schließlich Romantasy sein? Oder ich bin einfach verwöhnt, weil ich viel gute romantasy in letzter Zeit gelesen habe 😅. Das düstere Setting hat mich aber sehr mitgerissen, dadurch habe ich das Buch bis zum Ende gelesen 🤫. Gegen Ende nahm das Buch auch mehr Fahrt auf und daher möchte ich gerne den zweiten Band lesen 🥰.

Good evening, dear forest dwellers ♥️, have you ever fallen for fake covers? I recently fell for the book “For the Wolf” by Hannah Whitten. The book gave the impression of being an adaptation of Little Red Riding Hood and as I’m a big fan of such stories, it had to move in with me. But it was more like a Beauty and the Beast adaptation. I’m really not a fan of “Beauty and the Beast” 😅. But well, let’s get back to the topic. The author was able to captivate me with her great setting, the dark forest and her lively writing style. I kind of liked the story, but on the one hand I would have liked more romance, because it’s supposed to be romance? Or maybe I’m just spoilt because I’ve been reading a lot of good romance lately 😅. But the dark setting really drew me in, so I read the book to the end 🤫. Towards the end, the book picked up speed and I would therefore like to read the second volume 🥰.
